Get on home lil warfighter

Let me set the scene: An Army 2-star General Change of Command. Many distinguished visitors (Other Generals, elected officials) attend these events. Surprisingly, Nap 6 was on leave. We felt sure that hew would need to attend as there was a ample opportunity to score some serious face time with a General Officer (GO). We were not to be disappointed. Nap 6 swoops in to attend.

I had been given a heads up that a female GO was attending the ceremony. She had requested a meeting with me to gather statistics for a briefing on Women in Aviation. I elected NOT to tell Nap 6 about the request because I could answer her questions and she asked for me specifically. after the ceremony, in his office, this was the conversation:

Nap6: I head that General M was coming by here, did you know about it?
Me: Yes, she is coming by in hour and she wants some information on women in the army. Al (her escort officer) told me that she asked for me.
Nap6: There is now way that she would ask for you. She must have heard that I was on leave and she is settling for you.
Me: Sure sir, that is what is. Are you staying for her visit?
Nap 6: I am on leave, but i will greet her and then i will leave.
Me: i will let you know when she gets here

I Leave his office and walk down the hall to the other end of the building , entering another office. As I exit that office, oh shit there she stands: General M and she is ready to brief. No fucking around at all. I escort her to the brtiefing room. someone else goes to fetch Nap 6.

Me: Do you know Nap 6? he is the director here
Gen: No
Me: (wow he just told me that she must have know he was on leave, I know have confirmed one more time that he is full of shit)
lets get started then Ma’am

Nap 6: enters the room and trys to dominate the conversation with his shit. “I am on leave, I stayed her to assist you…blah …blah”

Gen to Nap 6: Why are you here then if you are leave? He can help (pointing at me). Just leave

Nap6′s face gets red. As He has just been tossed from his own conference room. By a general officer…a female general officer to tiop it all off. He stomps off gets his shit and goes home.

Aviation History is made one more time……

Nap 6 once told me: Hey Chuck M said hello.
Me: Wow, I am surprised that Chuck M remembers me. We only had 2 weeks of overlap at Fort Hood and that was nearly 15 years ago.
Nap6: No, Chuck says he knows you from Korea, that you flew Dash 7s together
Me: No, I have never been to Korea and I’m not qualified in Dash 7s
Nap6: Yes, you were in Korea with Chuck
Me: No, No, I’ve never been to Korea
Nap6: Oh yes you were
Me: Oh yes (resigning myself that I am arguing with a half-wit) I remember flying mission with Chuck while in Korea.

Moral of the story?  Nap 6 is a motherfucking Warfighter.  Band of brothers and he knows more about me than I do

Is this Nap 6 character the same poser that was a battalion commander in Hondo in 2000? I think it the same War Fighter.  Anyway after reading your “aviaiton professional” piece,  I began to to put together why this guy never flew a lick in Hondo (he flew 123 hours in 13 months).  Now it makes sense why he was always hanging in the female shitters all of the time.  mercy me, he is a sick sooty-souled cuss for sure.  Yano, keep up the good work!!

Thanks for the question Dick.  Yes it is the same guy and he has the same “making water like a chick” habits today as he did “back in the day”.   Read the email below:

I was hoping not to have to do this but I find it necessary.
While I was gone it appears that the female latrine was taken over.
Although I am the only female that works in the office, and I was absent
for two months, I would assume that the Soldiers in AP would respect the
usage of the latrines in the building.  Now what I mean by this is that
the female latrine is utilized by females and the male latrine is
utilized by males.  Since I have returned I have found the female
latrine in disarray (hunting magazines located on the chair), an empty
toilet paper roll still located on the dispenser, and just this morning
I had to pick up a paper towel from the floor because someone missed the
trash.  I have removed the magazines from the female latrine and placed
them on the water fountain.
This may seem trivial to many of you, however, I respect the males space
and I ask that the males respect the females space. Thank you for your
time.

The sheer audacity.  The lack of respect towards a full-bird in the United States Army is clear is the email.  I bet she doesn’t walk to the left and one step behind either….. Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) really should know better

He wanted the wings below (at a terrible morale cost to the Branch) as an “Aviation Professional”. He worked diligently to lower the flight hour standards (from 2000 to 1500)  for award of master wings.  For him and his other limp dick O6 buddies.  under the guise of the “Aviation Professional”

What is an Aviation Professional?  Apparently the Aviation Professional  is nothing more than  a broke dog-dick commissioned officer that never flies despite having the requisite resources (aircraft/Hours/) available.  But they always have an excuse not to fly because they are to “important”

Thanks GEN Richard Cody!!!!  You made the bad man stop.  Made him stop….

Rumor is that these wings, the date and the hour requirement (hours he will never make)   are  enscribed into the concrete under the carpet, under his chair, in his conference room …..lulz

Enforcing the Monroe Doctrine: Nap 6 is behind the guy with the gun. Nap is only 5'6, so you can't see him

Napoleon 6 told me this when he was faced with the choice of deployment or retirement:

“I can better support the warfighter from Fort VVVV.  Not in theater.”

He went with his hat in hand to beg for another year at Fort VVVV from the Commanding General (CG), the CG  told him to make a choice: Deploy or retire now .  Nap 6 was oblivious to the fact that the CG was the very person that offered him up to Human Resources Command (HRC) Senior Leaders Division (SLD)  for retirement of deployment.  lulz.

I could have prevented 6′s  humiliation by telling him  that he was wasting time asking for an extension from the CG.   Cause I had been told 2 weeks earlier that the CG was the person that offered him up  to HRC  but I “forgot” to tell Nap 6.   He would never believed me anyway.  He is so much smarter than me.   lulz

ARCOM with a V Device:  When Nap 6′s wife was  hammering his ass for retiring (she doesn’t want to be a COL (R)), he considered pulling his retirement request and deploying.  The SGM at the office, thinking of the morale and well-being of the soldiers downrange, stepped in andkept him focused on retirement. Ultimately the SGM saved lives.  Way to go SGM!!!

I remember once.  This old lion, he told me he was going to write a book.  A book of his time in the Army.  A book of Soldiering.  He would title it:  “From the Top, Looking Down”.  One word comes to mind.  Mentorship.
